For the month of August the original I Am More portraits have found a home at Acton Memorial Library, which is very special for our family since it was our library for fifteen years. And they’re not tucked away in a back corner or room, they’re right in the middle of everything:

Dylan and I would walk to the library every week for new books from “Lee Librarian,” and she had great times on the playground with her friends. I actually saw Lee as we were unloading portraits and she said she remembered us…ookay. I also accosted “Tinkerbell” from Dylan’s production of Peter Pan, who was admiring Emilia’s portrait with a friend. Back in the day, she spent lots of time dangling above me in the wings, when Iain and I and her parents were the designated “flyers” of the show.
We’re very grateful to Library Director Danielle Savin for granting us the space, Reference Librarian Susan Paju for watching over the exhibit, and a big thank you to Dave, Laurie and Emilia for lending us a hand! The portraits can be seen until September 3rd.

In addition, the portraits Sefatia and Donna are on display at The Open Door Food Pantry and Community Supper for the month of August–their third display since we began.
I Am More is supported by donations. If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution to support future portraits and displays, you can go to the Donation page of our fiscal sponsor Ocean Alliance and choose “I Am More” from the list of programs. Thank you for your support!!
Hi Amy!
Your work is exceptional…beyond words. And, I’m happy we’re friends. I will be forwarding this to our Board. Thank you, Amy for sharing your site with us. Love the design, content and presentation of it all.
My very best to you all!🤗 Malva
