Burlington Mall 2023

Here’s something new and refreshing–we drove to downtown Boston in a UHaul van on Memorial Day weekend to take down the exhibit at Tufts, and put it up at Burlington Mall, and it went…well! No traffic jams, no security hang-ups, no extreme weather, just took it down and put it up, and done!

It was still two days of moving and a bit of prep, but working with two superstar coordinators on both ends made it easy, and Iain was even more hyper than usual, coming off his first mountain biking vacation, so I just let him whip portraits around and weave the van in and out of Boston traffic.

This is our second visit to Burlington Mall and we are thrilled to be back in this big, bright, busy location with a whole new exhibit. The mall hadn’t opened yet when we finished setting up, and there were already folks taking it in:

The exhibit can be found by entering the mall by Legal Seafood and heading straight for the center court. You can catch it there throughout the month of June.

Thanks, as always, to The NAN Project for providing mental health emergency number cards, and thank you to Ann Cortissoz for editing the Spanish essay translations.

You can support new exhibits and portraits by making a tax-deductible donation at fiscal sponsor Ocean Alliance’s donation page and choosing “I Am More” from the list of programs. Thanks so much for your support!
