Goal Met

I’m thrilled to share with you that the fundraising goal for I Am More: Massachusetts has been met! In a little over a year you have made this portrait series possible by donations totaling $40,000. This will allow the 20 portraits to travel to four more regional exhibits around the state to impact as many Massachusetts residents as possible.

Over the last couple of weeks two sets of sponsors allowed me to reach my goal, so a huge thank you to Andrew Morse and Lucy and Ed Makin. Their generosity extends all the way back to our wedding, as Andrew sang at the ceremony, and Ed taught us to dance. Good (and patient) friends to have.

Now that the Massachusetts portraits are funded, it’s time to look to the future by adding new portrait subjects and topics to the I Am More collection. A sponsorship for each new portrait will require $2500 to cover all of the costs of labor, framing, materials, travel and displays, so maybe a day or two of celebrating…and then back to the drawing board!

I Am More is supported by donations. To make a tax-deductible donation please go to Ocean Alliance’s donation page and choose “I Am More” from the list of programs. Thank you for your support!!
